Countermeasures for sponge rubber packing wear! High resilience sponge packing that can almost eliminate wear even with long-term use over a decade.

High-recovery ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubber, when used as airtight seals for equipment handling powders or waterproof seals for liquids, exhibits extremely low compression deformation even after prolonged use, ensuring that the seals do not "sag." By utilizing this feature, it becomes possible to significantly reduce the frequency of seal replacements in hard-to-maintain areas deep within machinery. As a material, EPDM excels in chemical resistance, cold resistance, ozone resistance, and aging resistance. Its inherent elasticity as sponge rubber, combined with its non-sagging characteristics and consistent load response, allows it to also be used as "damping material." High-recovery rubber sponge has extremely low permanent deformation, providing excellent shape retention, and it instantly returns to its original form even after being subjected to prolonged pressure. - Features - - High weather resistance due to EPDM (ethylene propylene rubber) - Operating temperature range: -20 to +80°C - Sulfur-free grade with free sulfur below measurement limit - Flame retardant/oil-resistant grade (railway flame retardant compliant) * Custom cutting to required lengths available, with adhesive tape for delivery - Instantly recovers from a compressed state - High shape retention - Extremely low permanent deformation - Soft sponge suitable for a wide range of applications
